Senior Architect/Interior Designer - Senior Living Specialist


The Designers Group is seeking a talented Senior Architect/Interior Designer with expertise in designing Senior Living communities to join our office in New York City. We foster a vibrant and collaborative culture that encourages professional growth and creativity. The successful candidate should have experience working on various building types across all project stages. Strong management and organizational skills, combined with a high level of design sensitivity and ability, are crucial for this role. Effective communication and collaboration in an interdisciplinary, deadline-driven environment are also essential.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce design and construction documents, ranging from Concept Design to Construction Documentation phases (proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Dynamo preferred).

  • Collaborate and provide support to project team members, including design assistants, technical staff, and management.

  • Engage with consultants to address design and coordination issues.


Qualifications:

  • Possess a professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing Senior Living Facilities.

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Rhino and SketchUp.

  • Preferred proficiency in multiple rendering applications like 3D Studio Max, V-Ray, and InDesign.
