Development Associate

Intermediate Architect / Interior Designer
The Designers Group is seeking Intermediate Architect(s)/Designer(s) to join our New York City office. We are a group of dynamic professionals who foster a vibrant and creative culture with opportunity for professional growth and collaboration. The successful candidate(s) should have experience with various building types in all stages of project development. He/she will need good management and organizational skills combined with a high level of design sensitivity and ability. The position requires the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate in an interdisciplinary, deadline-driven atmosphere.
Responsibilities include:
• Execution of design and construction documents from Concept Design through Construction Documentation phases (ability to work in Revit, Rhino, and Dynamo preferred)
• Interact with and support project team members, including senior level design, technical, and management staff
• Interact with consultants on design and coordination issues.
Qualifications:
• Professional degree in Architecture or Interior or related programs.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit
• Proficiency in 3-D modeling software (Rhino and Sketch-Up)
• Proficiency in multiple rendering applications including 3-D Studio Max, V-Ray, and InDesign preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and project website programs
• Ability to handle multiple deadlines.

The Designers Group is seeking Junior Architect/Designer(s) to join our New York City office. We are a group of dynamic professionals who foster a vibrant and creative culture with opportunity for professional growth and collaboration. As part of the project team, the successful candidate(s) will have experience with various building types in all stages of project development, with a focus on Design execution from SD through CA. He/she will need to be a self-starter with good management and organization skills combined with a high level of design sensitivity.
Responsibilities include:
• Design, documentation, and execution of construction documents from SD through CA
• Interact with DBB project team members as well as DBB senior level design, technical, and management personnel in a multi-firm project (documentation in Revit, & AutoCAD)
• Interact with clients, team members, and all consultants to secure the quality and timely delivery of work.
Qualifications:
• Professional degree in Architecture or Interior or related programs.
• Minimum of 0-3 years of experience
• Basic knowledge of material
• Strong organizational, collaborative and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple deadlines
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (required), Rhino, Adobe Suite, Excel, Microsoft Word, model making, and other necessary technical tools for the project.
